How WonderRush packs really work
The pack should feel surprising, but the economy should never feel mysterious. Here are the current MVP rules in plain language.

1. Correct answers create spendable Stars
Every correct answer awards exactly one Star. An incorrect answer awards zero and does not reduce your existing balance. The Star counter shows currency you can spend—not a permanent score.
Each rush contains eight questions, so a perfect round can earn eight Stars. Your Stars carry across rounds and stay attached to your saved collection.
2. One pack costs 20 Stars
When your balance reaches 20 Stars, the Packs button changes from locked to ready. Opening one pack subtracts 20 Stars immediately. The counter therefore goes down when you buy a pack, just as a visible game currency should.
A pack belongs to the active world. NBA Stars open NBA packs; the resulting cards fill pages inside the NBA album. The same structure applies to Movies and TV Series.
3. Every pack contains three cards
The three pulls can come from any page in the selected world’s album. They are not restricted to the page you inspected most recently. This gives each pack a chance to advance several mini-collections at once.
The card pool is the whole album: seven pages with four collectibles each, for 28 unique cards in a playable MVP world.
4. At least one card is new
While the album still contains missing cards, the pack builder guarantees that at least one pull is a collectible you do not own. This promise prevents a player from spending a full pack price and receiving only duplicates before the album is complete.
The other pulls can be new or duplicate depending on collection state. As the album fills, duplicates naturally become more likely, but the guaranteed-new slot keeps forward progress alive.
Guarantee: one or more new cards in every pack while at least one uncollected card remains in that album.
5. A duplicate refunds two Stars
If a card is already in your album, WonderRush labels it as a duplicate and immediately adds two Stars back to your balance. You keep only one copy of each collectible; the refund is the duplicate’s value.
Example: you open a pack for 20 Stars and receive one new card plus two duplicates. The pack subtracts 20, then the two duplicates return four Stars. Your net cost is 16 Stars and your album still advances.
6. Page and album completion
Four distinct collectibles complete an album page and unlock its connected knowledge reward. Finishing the final missing card in an entire album also awards the configured album-completion bonus. Once an album is complete, the game stops offering packs for that world because there are no new cards left to discover.
Why these rules exist
The economy is designed around three ideas: a correct answer must always have visible value; opening a pack must feel exciting; and luck must not be able to stop meaningful progress. These values may be tuned as the game grows, but the interface and this guide will state the active rules.
